Wednesday 5th March - walks **** – Sunrise prom and Landguard – sunny with light winds.

Walk 1 – sunrise prom.

Woke at 6 and noticed some cool clouds out of the back bedroom window which turned out to be Cirrus Radiatus so I got dressed quickly and walked down to Felixstowe seafront and got some nice pics of the lines of clouds turned red by the rising sun:) Again there was a frost with another day of wall to wall sunshine but a little hazy on the horizon! I waited to the sun to show its face before retuning home to sort out my pics, I was chuffed to get two Editers picks on the BBC and for the second time this week got a pic on the National forecast and well as Look East, am having a great week on the TV, 5 so far:)

Walk 2 – Landguard circuit.

Both Mag and I had our breakfast in the garden before I did my exercises outside, as we needed some cat food from Lidl we decided to pack a picnic and drive down to Landguard Nature Reserve for a walk! We got there quite late around two and it was fairly busy with people enjoying the sunshine! A container ship was heading out as we walked across the reserve spotting a robin ending up at the small jetty overlooking Felixstowe docks. We then end up at our lunch spot on the old pier for a yummy picnic as the ferry heads in. Then as we were leaving another large container ship, so loads of boat action today! So another nice day and getting milder, might be enough breeze for a foil tomorrow?
